It's time to stop this outrageous practise

Rosie recently visited Canberra to talk to politicians about family law and I know they are across the issues now, following this meeting she sent an email to supporters asking them to take action to end the cross examination of victims by their abusers. You can read it below.

I recently visited Canberra to talk to politicians about family law and I know they are across the issues now. And you can help make sure they act.

We also know there is no excuse for this. There is no reason why we can’t protect victims and their children by empowering them to give evidence without fear or intimidation.

Only the federal government can fix this problem because it’s the federal Family Law Act that needs to change.  But there are only two parliamentary sitting weeks left in 2016.

We need to back each other up.  Please use our online form to email some key decision makers and crossbenchers in the federal parliament. We need their support to make this change happen. The online form only takes a moment to fill out and will make our collective voice more powerful.
