Inspired by the work of Berry Street, I want to support their important and critical work with children by raising money as part of my participation in China Challenge 2017.
Trekking the Great Wall of China as it winds between rural villages and ethereal mountains, all the while raising money to help children feel safe and filled with hope for the future.
The funds I will be raising will go towards a Berry Street Wilderness Camp, which aims to help children recover from trauma and abuse, through activities that work on self-confidence, resilience and teamwork.
I’m writing this post today because I want to invite you to come with me on this trip.
- Challenge yourself with a 5-day trek between mist-covered mountains, into local villages, across rolling farmlands and through dense forest.
